The KRA organized a clean-up campaign and on Saturday,25th July, a number of residents got out of their warm beds and at 8.30am they started collecting the rubbish on the streets. They concentrated this time on Queen St and Langermann.

The clean-up provided three major benefits to the residents, they were warm, fitter and the streets were cleaner. With a few more bodies we will be able to accomplish much more so please come and help.

The next two dates will be 26th September and 21st November. Our new motto "Get Fit With a Cleaner Kensington"!!!

A great big thanks to Ian at the restaurant "Caffiain" near the Belem in Queen Street who gave us free delicious coffee and muffins which we thoroughly enjoyed after our endeavors.(See photos) We certainly recommend this coffee shop to all the residents.

KRA MEMBERSHIP DRIVE

We had a very successful drive to get more members which was held at the Darras Centre. A special thanks to the management of the Darras who provided us with the facility to promote our community organization and a special thanks to Angels' Florist for providing us the lovely flowers for our stand and also to Yanni Macropulos at Supreme for providing us with support. You can obtain a membership form from Yanni the next time you shop at the Darras.

We have a new name (we were the Kensington Community Forum) so we needed a new web site.

Note that we are still collecting, reviewing and culling information. So some areas may be a bit sparse on info. But that will, over time, all be corrected.
